I was wearing sandals and my opponent wasn't. I was hesitant to shoot triples because of the fear of a wired dart bouncing out and sticking in my exposed toes. This hesitation cost me the match.... since then I have bought some steel toe boots and I throw with much more confidence... even at triples!!!
