I was down about 80 points in a cricket game and had just thrown back-to-back hattricks. As I was stepping to the throwline I did not notice a member of the opposing team turn on the ceiling fan suspended a few feet above the players box. I hit the first 2 bulls but missed the 3rd. As I retrieved my darts from the board I suddenly noticed a strong breeze blowing down on me and as I turned to face my teammates I pointed up to the offending fan and triumphantly exclaimed "3rd dart downdraft!!!" My opponent failed to take the game on his next round and I promptly threw that 3rd bull with my first dart and then went back to close my 20's, fan in full swing, to win the game.
