CyberDarts editor Rick Osgood (also owner of Rick's Darts & Games) recently had an opportunity to do a segment about Darts on Fox Morning News in Houston, Texas. After a few days of fairly hectic communications with the station and local darters, arrangments were made to shoot the segment just a couple of days before the 2013 Houston Open Darts Tournament.
Rick was accompanied by local darters Kristy Davis and Kris Beyer. The segment was shot live at the Channel 26 studio at 9:45am, Thursday June 20, 2013.
Although there was literally zero time to discuss the segment in advance with the TV host, the 5 minute live segment gave the three darters a chance to do a little PR for Darts in the Houston metro region, reaching an audience of tens of thousands of TV viewers.
