ESPN will broadcast exclusively live coverage of the BDO Winmau World Masters for a second consecutive year, continuing ESPN's commitment to bringing viewers some of the best darts action Europe has to offer. The tournament will take place between 10th and 14th October in Hull City Hall, with ESPN broadcasting exclusively live coverage of key sessions from 12th to 14th October.
The coverage will be led by Ray Stubbs, presenter of both the BDO World Professional Darts Championships and the Winmau World Masters for several years during his time with the BBC.
All discussion and analysis will come live from the World Masters, capturing the unique atmosphere of live darts.
The Winmau World Masters is the oldest established major in World Darts, having been played since 1974, and is one of the most prestigious titles in world darts.
ESPN's first year broadcasting the Masters saw Yorkshireman Scott Waites end Martin Adams' impressive run of three consecutive Masters victories – knocking Adams out in the Semi-Final before going on to become the 2011 Men's World Master.
The two will both go into the 2012 Masters with high hopes, but can expect tough competition from the likes of Stephen Bunting, Tony O'Shea, Jan Dekker and top ranking players from the BDO and WDF.
