USA - TEXAS
Texas Tournament Darts Association, Inc.

(Steel-Point)

Formed in 1991 to promote Darts throughout Southeast Texas, especially in the vicinity of the Houston metropolitan area. The association's major current event is the "No-Pros" tournament each year, in which highly ranked players are restricted from competing.

The reason for this event is to give many new players a chance to "try" a major tournament, without some of the fear that comes from facing major players for the first time. The first two year's events were outstandingly successful, and brought many new players into competitive Darts.
